Cardiff International White Water Centre

Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) is an on demand rafting centre based in the International Sports Village, Cardiff Bay.

Having successfully worked with the marketing team at the Cardiff Harbour Authority on the CIWW brand we were asked to look at a range of featured advertising in the local Capital Times and South Wales Echo Extra newspapers alongside regional and national billboard advertising to help promote the newly opened centre.

Luckily we were provided with a range of great professional photography by the centre. But where needed we also added a few royalty free image purchases to help give the campaigns the right impact. Working closely with their in-house marketing team, Octopus Creative devised a number of straplines and formats for their advertising design ensuring the client had maximum flexibilty with the multiple formats booked across the regional and national media.

To give the centre's launch extra impact a national 48 sheet billboard campaign was booked. This helped target potential visitors outside of the South Wales region. Again, Octopus Creative were happy to offer their experience with formatting the artwork for this aspect of the campaign launch.
