The Royal Pier is the premier entertainment and dining out experience in Aberystwyth, Wales, incorporating the Brasserie restaurant, Pressure nightclub, The Inn on the Pier, Sports and Social club and amusement arcade.
The Royal Pier approached Octopus Creative as web designers to bring its comprehensive range of entertainment facilities to the web. Octopus are currently implementing Content Management Systems (CMS) to help the Royal Pier staff edit information on feature nights, opening times and online restaurant menu details.
Independent Foster Care Services (IFCS) is a foster care agency based in Cardiff, South Wales. IFCS help families who want to be foster carers provide the best possible care for children and young people.
The new web design incorporated a blog facility for children in foster care with IFCS and foster carers/social workers to be able to contact each other through the website. Plans are also in development for a realtime messenger service and Content Management Systems (CMS) for Independent Foster Care Services staff to edit the web content directly.
